The Embroidered Coat

Coat: Zara | Jeans: Joe’s Jeans | Booties: Marc Fisher | Bag: Saint Laurent | Sunnies: Marc Jacobs

This new embroidered trend has got me like ūüėć. As I do, I was trolling Instagram and found a blogger from another country in this coat and I had to have it! I searched the Zara US website but had no luck. I then put in a google search and a bunch of them came up on E-Bay! I’ve always been skeptical of eBay but I had to have this coat, so I decided to order it from a seller with a good rating. I was so happy when I opened the box that arrived a week later! This coat is everything and more. It is really great¬†quality and the embroidery is so pretty! It is such a statement coat but I feel like it can be worn with so many different things, and different colors since the floral design picks up multiple colors. All in all, it is a must have! I linked it above to the EBay seller that I purchased from, but if you are not keen on ordering off of there, I linked some jackets that are also badass and have the embroidery flowers. This coat has a military vibe so I wanted to keep my outfit really simple, and decided to go with my pointy toe flat ankle boots for a very polished look.¬†I was searching for a while for the perfect pair of black flat booties. I found a pair of amazing Givenchy ones, but I just could not justify spending so much money. When I found these Marc Fisher ones I was sold immediately. They are pointy enough to be super chic, and the star studs are subtle but add the perfect edgy tough. This is the way to do practical winter style.¬†

Re-styling the Fur Vest

Vest: Saks Fifth Avenue | Dress: Abercrombie | Boots: Stuart Weitzman Sam Edelman | Bag: Saint Laurent | Sunnies: Prada

As it gets colder it¬†becomes harder and harder to look cute, as you just want to spend most of your time wrapped up in blankets. I love pairing up a fur vest with¬†pretty much anything, but over a sweater dress¬†would have to be my favorite. I found this amazing dress on sale at Abercrombie (my go-to lately if you can’t tell) and I love it because it’s not bulky¬†like most sweater dress.¬†It’s a thick material but it’s still very slimming and it looks absolutely perfect with a pair of over the knee boots, or with tights and booties for a colder day. This vest is still available in a few colors and is the lowest price I’ve ever seen it, so now is the time to buy it before it sells out.

I have so many events this month and have really been trying to re-work things in my closet, rather than buying everything new. I will try to keep showing different ways to wear the items in my closet. Yesterday I went to brunch for my sisters birthday and ended up wearing my fun patch jacket over a cozy cream turtleneck dress, with these SW boots. I absolutely loved the outfit, and I was happy to wear that awesome jacket again. I am so looking forward to wearing it with an all white outfit come Spring. I hope everyone had a wonderful Monday and here’s to a productive week! Xoxo

A Simple Tee

Jacket: J. Crew | Tee: Bobi | Jeans: Similar | Scarf: Adrienne Landau | Booties: Sam Edelman | Sunnies: Dolce & Gabanna | Bag: Prada | Gloves: Portolano

Sometimes you just want to keep it simple, and when you do, Bobi Los Angeles is your go to! They make the softest t-shirts with an amazing fit. It was so cold and snowy this past weekend so I just wanted to be comfortable and of course, layered. I through on this long sleeve v-neck tee with a pair of black skinny jeans, and topped it with my camel peacoat and was ready to go. My husband loves simple style, and this long sleeve tee is his new favorite top of mine. This color combo is also one that I love. To finish the look, I wore this fur pom scarf, which was one of my favorite Christmas gifts from my mom this year. It is so simple, yet so chic, and there’s so many ways to wear it. These boots are also a must have! They are super comfortable and have just enough of a point in the front to make them sexy and chic for a night out. I hope everyone’s hanging in there this week! We’re 2 days away from Friday now! Xoxo

Snow Bunny Style

Jacket: Pyrenex, Similar, Similar | Sweater: J. Crew | Button Down: Gap | Beanie: ILY Mix | Booties: Similar | Sunnies: Rayban | Bag: Celine

Normally I absolutely HATE the winter, but this year I am fully embracing it for all the wardrobe opportunities! I love a fur pom beanie and this light pink one has become my favorite! It is so soft, and you can get 20% off with code ERICA20. When it’s this cold out, you absolutely have to layer, so sometimes it’s hard to look cute while staying warm. My favorite go-to is a button down shirt under a sweater. It looks very chic and put together, and keeps you toasty. This shiny Pyrenex jacket is a staple in my winter wardrobe. Invest in a down puffer coat. Do the research to make sure it is down and that it will keep you warm, and you will not regret it! I found these boots at the end of last winter season on major sale, but luckily they were so cute that other brands made their own version this time around. These Jessica Simpson ones are the most similar to mine that I could find. I love these because even though they are not a true snow boot, they are perfect for that icy weather and still look so cute and stylish. A lot of the snow boots out there are great if you are trecking through Antarctica, but aren’t really very cute with your skinny jeans and chunky sweaters. These boots do it all! I hope everyone is enjoying the snowy weekend, while staying warm and stylish! Xoxo

Sweater: Express | Jacket: Pyrenex, Similar | Jeans: Express |Booties: Similar | Sunnies: Similar | Bag: Celine

One of my favorite prints is back in style! I had a sweater that was really similar to this about 10 years ago and I was so upset when I wore it out and finally had to get rid of it, so I was beyond excited the other day when I found this sweater at Express, and on sale for 50% off. Plus, the cold shoulder detail made it even better! It was so cold out this day so I kept it simple with a pair of black skinny jeans and booties, and through on my down puffer coat over, but I am dying to pair this sweater with a leather mini skirt, and suede over the knee boots for a night out!

Ruffle My Feathers

Sweater: Endless Rose | Jeans: Joe’s | Booties: Marc Fisher | Earrings: Makua | Bag: Paula Cademartori | Sunnies: Prada

It is all about the ruffles this season!! This sweater was on back order for about a month, but it was so worth the wait, and it is now fully restocked!! It is available in grey and a gorgeous olive green. The sleeves are so fun and can be worn casual with jeans and booties like I did with this look, or you can dress it up with a pair of black skinny pants, and a sexy pair of pumps. It is definitely a statement sweater and doesn’t need much else to complete the look. Get it now because this sweater will sell out fast! If you can’t tell, these Marc Fisher booties are my new favorite and I have been wearing them with everything. They are so comfortable and I love how edgy and casual they can be. They are currently on major sale! I decided to finish this look with these gorgeous gold statement earrings from Makua Jewelry. I discovered the line through Instagram and fell in love instantly. The jewelry is made¬†for a tropical vacation outfit, and I picture all their statement earrings, with white flowy maxi dresses, but since I am stuck in cold NY at the moment I thought these earrings would pair perfectly with this black sweater. For under $100 they are more than worth the money! What are everyone’s plans for NYE?!
